Remodel Brings New Life

The Dunlaps were planning to remodel their new home even before they bought it. Their house was built in 1992, and everywhere they looked it felt outdated and uninviting – the design, layout, style, and colors. It all had to go. When it came time to redo the kitchen and main bathroom and to create a bar area, they knew My Cabinet Factory’s custom cabinets would make all the difference.

For MCF, this project would be unique for lots of reasons. One big reason is that the client, Paul Dunlap, is a professional contractor and builder. He had worked with our MCF team for multiple projects for his clients, and now it was time to use MCF for his own home.

The Dunlap’s kitchen needed style updates, added storage, and improved functionality. Our Signature Series cabinets were a great fit for their plans.

We had this dead space between our kitchen counter and window, but it was only nineteen inches deep. I knew MCF could build exactly what we needed to fit that space.

Our MCF design team collaborated with the Dunlaps to design a custom cabinet tower to utilize that space. Instead of piling their countertops with stacks of mail, laptops, and charging stations, Paul and Dana now have the convenience of easy access to those items and quick storage within their new cabinet tower.

MCF also made sure their kitchen redesign included increased storage and improved layout and organization. Now the Dunlaps have room for all their entertainment accessories and serving platters. Plus, their new kitchen includes drawers big enough for their pots and pans, a spice rack drawer, and even a Lazy Susan to transform a blind corner into useable storage.

My Cabinet Factory’s custom cabinets really mean custom. You can do whatever you want without the dimension and color limitations of boxed cabinets.

That tower adds a lot of class to the look of our bathroom. It’s such a nice separation between the sinks and has just the storage we need.

For their bathroom remodel, MCF built custom cabinets to improve the design and organization. This included a cabinet tower in the center of their bathroom vanity that has custom-sized jewelry drawers. And with MCF’s myriad of color options, the Dunlaps were able to pick a cabinet color to perfectly compliment the countertop quartz.

The Dunlaps also wanted to create a bar area as part of their remodel. MCF created cabinets to not only fit the space but also highlight some personal design elements, including their unique driftwood table.

MCF built an upper cabinet with LED lighting and carved out space to show off their beautiful geode stone and even used rain glass to match their front door glass and tie the spaces together.

My Cabinet Factory helped us turn an uninviting space into a beautiful and functional part of our home.

The Dunlaps just hosted a baby shower and really enjoyed watching everyone gather in their newly remodeled home. Thanks to their new MCF custom cabinets they can’t wait for the next chance to entertain family and friends.
