When Cate Brown downsized to her current home, she knew it was going to need a lot of work. She loves hosting big gatherings and cooking for family and friends. To make this new house feel like home, she had to start with a full kitchen redesign. My Cabinet Factory (MCF) was her answer.

Cate’s existing kitchen was small with a stove in the peninsula. It didn’t match her style, and it had very little food preparation space. On top of that, her old cabinets were made of lower quality materials, and their paint was peeling and sticking.
Our kitchen design experts worked with Cate to redo the floor plan and customize cabinets to better utilize the kitchen’s horseshoe shape. We also added details and accessories to make the space fit her style and her love of cooking.

Our Signature cabinet series (in Shaker profile) was the perfect way to provide her a beautiful kitchen with a timeless feel. We used black hardware throughout and white paint for her wall cabinets and espresso paint for base cabinets.
MCF made sure her kitchen reflected her style, but we also created an improved layout and much-needed meal preparation space. We added storage, organization, and customized accessories. She loves her custom mixer lift pull out we made to hold her Cuisinart mixer, and she enjoys showing off her favorite dinnerware and display pieces in her glass-front cabinets.
